Care Instructions for YORQ Throws

To keep your mohair and aplaca items looking beautiful and lasting longer, YORQ recommends regularly airing them out and allowing them to rest. You can gently handwash mohair and alpaca in lukewarm water.

General Care:

• Air Regularly: Give your product time to breathe.
• Storage: Store items folded instead of hanging to prevent stretching.
• Maintain Fluffiness: Lightly brush the surface with a clothes brush. Lay the product flat and use long, gentle strokes to restore its softness. You can carefully remove excess pilling by hand.
• Pest Protection: To guard against moths, place a small piece of cedar wood in your wardrobe.
• Breathable Storage: Keep cleaned mohair and alpaca products in a breathable cotton garment bag. For stain removal, dry cleaning is recommended.
• Dry clean only. Proffesional dry cleaning. Perchloroethylene (PCE).
• Avoid: Do not use fabric softener or soak the product. Donť bleach. Don´t iron. Don´t thumble dry.
• Steaming: You can lightly steam the surface at a low temperature, but avoid direct contact with an iron.
